[MOD] Layout!

Okay kiddies! We have a nice little community here, and I thank you all for behaving well and not giving me reason to step in! However, the layout's old and the community info looks dull, so!

Any of you who are members over at ukitake_fans have already seen this post, so I apologize for you having to see it again!

I want to make a nice clean new layout for the community and not so blasphemously pink, egh and I wanted to see if any of you had some images you'd like to see in the header! It'll be set up with a header, the main post area with modular sections, and a sidebar with quick link navigation and snazzy stuff like that. makito_sama is basically what it'll look like. 8O [Ignore that half-completed layout, by the way; WIP and all]

Any colors y'all are allergic to? Things you'd die without in the sidebar? Someone you absolutely positively wouldn't want to see in the header? XD I'm basically thinking something Yoru/Soi, but I also know we have eclectic tastes here and some great artists, so maybe you'll love the community enough to draw something shiny? ♥

Yay~ <3 Glad to see some fresh life! Perhaps links to some of the pairing specific comms on the sidebar?

As far as the header, I'd think either some pretty YoruSoi or maybe that cute scene where Isane and Unohana are on the veranda or-or-or maybe the RukiHime cover or the picture where Rukia's touching Orihime's cheek.

Yes! I hadn't realized my other mods left me. T^T We used to be a three-girl operation, but alas. D: I just checked the comm before the strikeout to remove questionable things from the interests and what do I find? I'M the only moderator left! T_____T

And ohhh great idea! 8O I hadn't thought about that; I need to make an affiliation run-about soon anyways for here and my Ukitake comm. XD

Well originally, I was only in the mod status because I made the old layout and made up the community rules, and made the comm; the other two did the actual moderating. D: And changed the layout too. >____>

And it's been forever; how have you been? X3 We were in Bleach Party! together, if you don't remember me. T____T; The one that Isa abandoned and we tried to resurrect a few times before giving up, cuz we didn't have the site info. :D;

That's good to hear~! On both accounts, haha. I KNOW; I keep hoping it'll come back too. D: I still have all the doujinshi people donated to us and stuff-- my friend Shai gave me a crapload of IchiIshi. XD I see Isa around now and then, but whenever I try to talk to her, I get ignored. T____T Oh well.

We should try to do something with it. D: I know my friend and I are making a scanlation/subbing group, so maybe we'll do doujinshi too, like Aku-Tenshi does. XD I don't suppose you'd want to translate the doujinshi, if we do? :x

Awww! Do we ever have any mail? :x I don't even remember any of the editors we had besides myself and Rikku. XD; But I think if we need to, I have a couple friends that would probably help edit; and I can teach any noobs that wanna join. XD I'd hate to see them go to waste too. T_____T

Yeah. >: I actually got into the manga thanks to the Varia characters, so I've been stuck reading raws trying to keep up with the series.

*laughs* We still have the Yahoo group and the LJ community, right? XD I'm not sure how much good it will do, but it can't hurt to try? Besides, we're still being hosted on Kefi, I think. So, all we'd have to do was talk to Oceanizer about it, if Isa's not responding.

XD Well, I found raws for the gaps and I was more interested in the serious arcs than the gag arcs, so it really wasn't tooo much of a jump for me. D= If all else fails, there's the anime?

Couldn't hurt to try and see if he'd be up for that? XD

XDD I've seen a few episodes. The mess that was the timeline in the first few episodes made me hold off on watching more, but Varia just showed up in the latest episodes, so I'm thinking to try it again.

I'm a fairly new...but I'd have to agree, yellow is not a good choice...anything neon is generally blinding...
not very specific advice though...

I personally think a group pic would be cool to use for the header as opposed to a pic with a specific pairing.

There's this (http://hyokagami.deviantart.com/art/BLEACH-GIRLS-46597469) pic, which is kind of overused (and can be found a million other places XD) but features all the Bleach females.

Or you could even see if someone would make something specifically for the comm that features the main females. I'm sure making a post in some other gen comms would attract some artists. Sorry if this idea sucks balls ^^; I just thought it could be cool.
